Rescuers revived a cat that was pulled from a fire in Aktobe. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, according to Tengrinews.kz.
Firefighters arrived to extinguish a blaze in an apartment within one of the city’s high-rise buildings. In the room where furniture and belongings were burning, they found a cat that showed almost no signs of life. The pet had inhaled carbon monoxide.
"The senior firefighter from the specialized fire department No. 1, Kenjegali Abzal, quickly carried the animal outside to fresh air and immediately began its resuscitation. With the help of a breathing apparatus, the furry creature was successfully revived," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Previously, we reported on a fire at a children's hospital in Taraz. At that time, rescuers evacuated 42 people from the smoke-filled area to fresh air, including 30 children.
