The family of the beaten schoolboy in Semey has been provided with a four-room apartment. In just three days, compassionate Kazakhs raised 35 million tenge, reports Tengrinews.kz.
"The transaction went smoothly, everything is signed. It’s registered in Alinur's name, but since he is not yet 18, his father signed on his behalf. So it is his apartment and belongs to him," wrote volunteer Dinara Sadybaeva on Instagram.
Recall that on February 24, a video circulated on social media showing a group of schoolboys exhibiting cruelty towards a boy who was humiliated and beaten. All actions were filmed by teenagers on camera.
It was later revealed that a pre-investigation was initiated regarding the minors involved. Following the review of the incident by a special commission, a decision was made to send all participants in the fight to a specialized school for children with deviant behavior for correction and psychological work in a temporarily isolated environment.
The commission also recommended stripping the parents of three schoolboys of their parental rights. All materials have been submitted to the court, where a final decision will be made.
Leaders of several educational institutions have been held accountable, and the school principal has been dismissed.
