The relatives of the head of a farming enterprise, who went out to search for livestock, contacted rescuers when he did not return home by evening, reports Tengrinews.kz, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The search and rescue operation took place in the Algin district of the Aktobe region.

"Yesterday morning, a man born in 1969 left the farm on a snowmobile to look for livestock. By evening, worried relatives reached out to the rescuers and reported that his whereabouts were still unknown and that they had no contact with him," rescuers stated.

Rescuers set out in two all-terrain vehicles, "Trecol". After four hours of driving on a difficult road, they found the man in the booth of one of the farms.

"Fortunately, he was unharmed. It turned out that his phone had died, the snowmobile got stuck in the snow in the steppe, and he walked several kilometers before reaching the booth," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The man was taken to the village of Koktogai.

Earlier, in the Aktobe region, rescuers assisted an ambulance in getting through a snowstorm to a family with children.
