New rules for attaching to clinics have been introduced in Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Health has developed a draft order that implements changes and additions to the rules for attachment to primary health care organizations (PHC), reports Tengrinews.kz.
According to the draft, the changes will affect students, conscripts, and minors:
- Students: students from other cities studying in universities and madrasas will be able to attach to the nearest clinic through the electronic government portal or in paper form. For students under 18, a request from legal representatives will be required. Students over 18 will be able to attach themselves both at their actual place of residence and at the location of their educational institution.
- Conscripts: young men subject to conscription will also have the option to attach through the electronic portal or in paper form.
- Minors: parents and guardians will now be able to attach children to clinics based on their actual place of residence, which, according to the Ministry of Health's plans, will simplify access to medical services for families living away from their registered address.
The timing of the annual attachment campaign will also change: it will take place from September 1 to November 1, instead of the previous period from September 15 to November 15.
Previously, we reported that a new service appeared on the eGov.kz portal, allowing guardians of children and incapacitated citizens to attach their wards to a clinic.
