The skater from Almaty took the lead after the short program, scoring 94.73 points.

In the free skate, he extended his advantage and ultimately earned the gold.

Overall, Mikhail achieved an impressive total of 285.10 points.

Second place went to Cha Jun-hwan (South Korea) with 265.02 points, while Jimmy Ma from the USA finished third with 245.01 points.

It is worth noting that Mikhail Shaidurov is the second Kazakhstani to win this tournament. In 2015, another Almaty skater, bronze Olympic medalist Denis Ten, won a similar event. Elizabeth Tursynbaeva also made her mark at the 2019 Four Continents Championship by winning silver.
