It is worth mentioning that citizens of Kazakhstan do not need to obtain a visa to enter South Korea. A mutual visa waiver agreement exists between the two countries. However, South Korea has an electronic entry authorization system for foreign nationals called K-ETA, which requires travelers arriving under the visa-free regime to submit an electronic notification of their planned trip on the website www.k-eta.go.kr at least 24 hours before departure to receive permission from South Korean authorities for entry. It is important to note that the processing of applications can take more than 72 hours.
