A new service has been introduced in eGov, reports Tengrinews.kz.
According to the press service of JSC "National Information Technologies," data regarding military service is now available in the eGov Mobile application.
"Users can view and share information about their military duty status and conscription directly from their smartphone. The new features make accessing data even more convenient and straightforward," the statement reads.
It is specified that this service became available following the update of the "Digital Information" service.
The application now offers two new types of information:
- Conscription information - data on conscription status and service duration.
- Military service status - the current military duty status of the citizen.
Users can share this data themselves by providing their IIN, the recipient's phone number, or send it upon the request of the employer, who can inquire for information through the application. The citizen will receive a notification about the request and can choose to accept or decline it. Additionally, data can be sent via messengers and email.
To use the service, you need to:
- log in to the eGov Mobile application and navigate to the "Information" section;
- check incoming requests for access to information in the "History" section;
- grant permission to share information or decline the request;
- if necessary, revoke previously provided data by clicking the "Revoke" button.
The update was implemented through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Public Services, and JSC "National Information Technologies," aimed at simplifying and enhancing access to important military service information.
Previously, we reported that housing certificates have started being issued to Kazakhs through eGov.
