By decree of the Head of State, Nurlan Baibazarov has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports Tengrinews.kz citing Akorda.
Nurlan Baibazarov was appointed Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Economy on February 6, 2024.
Nurlan Serikovich Baibazarov was born on October 10, 1975.
From 2004 to 2011, he held positions as head of the project agency service department, managing director of investment projects, director of the corporate development department, and corporate secretary of JSC "Kazakhstan Development Bank".
From 2013 to 2016, he led the department for the development of sectors of the economy at the Ministry of National Economy.
In addition, over the years, he worked in joint-stock companies: JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", JSC "KazMunayGas Consulting", JSC "NC "KazMunayGas".
From 2016 until November 2022, he served as a member of the board of directors and chairman of the management board of JSC "Industrial Development Fund".
From November 2022 to October 2023, he was the chairman of the management board of JSC "Kazakhstan Development Bank".
Since October 2023, he has been working as the head of the "Baiterek" holding.
