At the ceremony, which will take place on January 20 in Washington, Kazakhstan will be represented by the ambassador to the U.S. Erzhan Ashikbayev.

Erzhan Ashikbayev has held the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the U.S. since April 5, 2021. From 2013 to 2021, he served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
