A player from "Kairat" is set to finalize a contract with "Chelsea."

Young footballer from Kazakhstan, Dastan Satpaev, is set to sign a contract with London’s Chelsea in the coming days, reports Caravan.kz.

Several sources have confirmed the imminent signing of Satpaev. Meta-ratings.kz asserts that Chelsea has made a final decision regarding the forward from Kairat and the youth national team of Kazakhstan, Dastan Satpaev — the transfer will be finalized.

The transition is expected to take place next week. Details of the transfer remain undisclosed, as Satpaev is still under 18 years old.

Sports journalist Yerzhan Mukash also reported that the first-ever Kazakh player will soon appear in the English Premier League (EPL), although he did not disclose the player's name.

It was previously reported that the Kairat graduate went for a trial in London.

Additionally, Uzbek footballer Abdulkodir Khusanov recently signed a contract with EPL club Manchester City, becoming the first Uzbek footballer in England's history.
