Before the match, left-wing politicians and activists organized a demonstration in the northern suburb of Paris, Saint-Denis, protesting against the football match. French President Emmanuel Macron is attending the game.
Paris prepared thoroughly for this match. Security at the international football event is provided by four thousand police officers.
Over a thousand private security guards are on duty at the stadium, and the Israeli team is protected by an elite anti-terrorism police unit. Nearby bars are closed.

Following the match with the local "Ajax," there was a series of attacks on fans of Tel Aviv's "Maccabi."
Media reports indicated that some of the attackers were carrying Palestinian flags and chanting "Freedom for Palestine."
According to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at least 10 people were injured.
