The Financial Monitoring Agency has responded to reports suggesting that a fight involving officials in Atyrau is connected to its employees, as reported by Tengrinews.kz.
According to the agency, AFM employees "have no relation to this incident."
"The information disseminated in the media regarding the incident involving the Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenues for the Atyrau region is not accurate. No employees from the Department of State Revenues for Atyrau region were present at the scene of the incident," the Financial Monitoring Agency stated.
The Financial Monitoring Agency urges the public to rely only on official sources of information.
Earlier, we reported that the Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenues for Atyrau region fell into a coma after the fight. The incident occurred on January 28 at one of the entertainment venues in Atyrau.
It is reported that the conflict allegedly involved a prosecutor and employees of the Department of State Revenues for Atyrau region.
The press service of the Atyrau region police department reported that a criminal case has been registered under part 1 of Article 106 of the Criminal Code ("Intentional infliction of serious harm to health").
