It is important to note that the Ministry of Energy previously announced plans for a phased liberalization of prices for petroleum products (GSM) to eliminate the price gap with neighboring countries and minimize the risk of "grey" exports. This phased liberalization will lead to price increases, but the Kazakh authorities promise social support for vulnerable populations and agricultural producers.
