They are suspected of committing a series of serious crimes, reports the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan. In one instance, the suspects threatened and used violence to seize 5 million tenge and a Toyota SUV from a local resident. In another case, they openly stole 6 million tenge from a bank.
"All members of the criminal group have been taken into custody. An investigation is underway to determine their involvement in other similar criminal offenses. A pre-trial investigation is being conducted regarding the extortion and robbery committed by a group of individuals in collusion," said Kuanlyk Alpyss, a representative of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
