According to the Emergency Situations Department, at 09:53, forces and resources were dispatched on a heightened alert to the address: 85 Maiyilina Street, a two-story workshop for the production of polyurethane glue.
"Upon arrival at 10:00, it was determined that the workshop was engulfed in open flames. Fire hoses were deployed, and fire trucks were connected to hydrants. An operational headquarters was established, and two fire suppression sectors were created," the agency reported.
It is noted that there was heavy smoke at the scene, and members of the gas and smoke protection service were operating with compressed air apparatuses and using thermal imaging cameras. Firefighting was complicated by the high flammable load.
By 10:45, the fire was localized. The preliminary area affected was 250 sq. m.

According to online data, the mentioned building houses a polyurethane glue production plant, a flour sales company, and an insurance company.
The day before, on January 23, a school was completely destroyed by fire in the Pavlodar region.
