On January 25, an online meeting was held with entrepreneurs, Mazhilis deputy Aitubar Koshmambetov, and representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Construction. The discussion centered around the draft Rules for maintaining the register of Kazakhstani producers. The ministry's press service reports that approximately 500 business and public representatives participated in the meeting.
“During the meeting, key aspects of the project were thoroughly explained to entrepreneurs, including the mechanism for confirming the status of domestic producers. It is important to note that the purpose of this document is to establish a clear procedure for confirming the status of Kazakhstani producers, which is a significant step in supporting domestic businesses and enhancing their competitiveness,” the statement reads.
It was also noted that a series of additional meetings will be held for more detailed discussions and further collaboration with business representatives and other interested parties.
Earlier, Mazhilis deputy Mukash Iskandirov reported that the Register of Kazakhstani Goods will replace the existing “CT-KZ” certificates and the industrial certificate. The formation of the register will involve digital verification and assessment of production conditions.
“The register will come into effect in 2025, while the certificates will remain valid until January 1, 2026,” the deputy added.
