Another boy, who was previously evacuated by rescuers, received urgent psychological assistance. The boy's mother warmly thanked the emergency services staff for saving her child.
"At this moment, the fire has been extinguished. A fire research and testing laboratory is working to determine the cause of the blaze," – reported the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to preliminary information, the fire on the first floor of the Ice Palace occurred due to the ignition of sports equipment. The flames covered an area of approximately 40 square meters.
