The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the search and apprehension of criminals is being carried out in collaboration with law enforcement agencies from CIS countries.
"In Moscow, a 28-year-old Kazakhstani was detained, who promised local residents in Almaty from April to October 2024 to sell their expensive smartphones, and then disappeared. The man deceived seven people. The damage amounted to over 32 million tenge," the agency reported.
In the Moscow region city of Lyubertsy, police officers from Shymkent, together with foreign colleagues, apprehended a 36-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan.
"In 2014, she fraudulently sold a plot of land belonging to a resident of Shymkent. The total damage amounted to 14 thousand dollars," the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained.
Since the beginning of 2025, 11 criminals have been located outside Kazakhstan. At the same time, 44 offenders have been found on the territory of our country for the competent authorities of other nations.
On February 1, 2025, a citizen of Uzbekistan who fled from justice was detained in the Aktobe region. He had been wanted by the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova for the illegal transportation of narcotic substances.
