According to the information from the Abai Region Health Department, a child born in 2013 was admitted to the emergency room on February 23, 2025. He received timely medical and psychological assistance:
"The patient's diagnosis is a closed traumatic brain injury. The child has a hematoma in the occipital region, as well as multiple subcutaneous hematomas in the lower extremities."
Currently, according to the doctors, the child's condition is satisfactory. There is no threat to life. The boy is now under dynamic observation by a pediatrician, traumatologist, and neurologist.

The Commissioner for Children's Rights in Kazakhstan, Dinara Zakiyeva, stated that she discussed the incident of the boy's beating with the Akim of the Abai Region, Berik Uali. According to her, the parents of the two minors who committed the crime have already been reviewed by the juvenile affairs commission for failing to fulfill their parental responsibilities.
On February 26, 2025, it became known that the principal of School No. 9, where the incident occurred, was dismissed from his position. His deputy for educational work received a formal reprimand.
