A Kazakhstani woman has set her sights on becoming the undisputed world champion in boxing.

Milan Safronova, a champion in boxing from Asia and Kazakhstan, has made an announcement regarding her career, as reported by Caravan.kz.

The athlete informed her fans through social media that she has decided to retire from amateur boxing and transition to professional boxing.

“I have always dreamed of raising the flag of my homeland on global stages and I will strive to achieve this in the professional ring, bringing glory to our country. My new path and new goal is to become the first undisputed world champion from Kazakhstan,” Safronova wrote.

She backed her words with action, already beginning a new training regimen in Thailand.

“I am officially turning professional—I will soon announce the date of my fight. With my powerful team, I am ready to become a champion and bring all the titles back to my homeland,” she stated.
