As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, drivers of vehicles sought assistance from rescuers.
"In the midst of a 30-degree frost and a blizzard, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived to free the people. They transported seven individuals to a warming station in the village of Korgalzhyn and provided them with hot meals. They did not require medical assistance," the agency stated.
The rescued individuals expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Emergency Situations staff and continued on their journey.
It was previously reported that temperatures as low as -38 degrees are expected in Kazakhstan.
