Alimkhanuly has found a new opponent for the fight in Astana.

The WBO and IBF middleweight champion from Kazakhstan, Janibek Alimkhanuly, has learned the name of his upcoming opponent for the fight in his homeland, reports Caravan.kz.

According to ESPN, on April 5 in Astana, Alimkhanuly will defend his titles in a bout against the undefeated French boxer Anauel Ngamissenge. Unlike Alimkhanuly, Ngamissenge has not faced high-level competition in his career.

There is currently no official confirmation of this information. Previously, the undefeated Englishman Shaquille Thompson was being considered as Alimkhanuly's opponent for the fight in Astana this spring.
