Yuri Dud conducted an interview with Kazakh musician Itsyq Tsyper.

The 62-year-old musician gained fame a few years ago when he recorded a track in a basement with a young beatmaker from Kostanay. The composition unexpectedly made it into the global top ten on Shazam, becoming a true sensation. In an interview with Dudya, the elder explained that the song is not about marijuana, as many assumed, but rather about regular cigarettes with strong tobacco.

Additionally, Tsiper dispelled rumors regarding his criminal past.

— Why would I need that? — he responded when asked about a possible prison history.

The musician also shared the reasons for his divorce from his wife Saule after 25 years of marriage.

— I understand her. Who would want to live with me? I wasn’t working, — he admitted.
