The Ministry of Culture and Information noted that the exhibition features over 60 works by the artist.
At the exhibition, unique pieces made from felt and natural materials can be seen. Special attention is drawn to the tools used for working with wool, inherited from the artist's grandmother, as well as archival photographs of Kazakh masters who practiced traditional crafts.
The central focus of the artist's work is the national Kazakh carpet—a symbol of cultural heritage and spiritual strength that deepens the connection with ancestral traditions. The artist is known for her innovations in felt art, using this ancient material to convey the rich heritage of the Great Steppe. Abstract motifs in her canvases evoke the concept of the eternal sky, embodying the ideas of Tengriism and reflecting the mindset of ancestors.
The exhibition will run until November 24, 2024.
