The certification commission included renowned and respected figures from Kazakhstan's music scene: the chair of the jury – the chief conductor of the theater, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, and laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alan Buribaev, the deputy chief conductor, People's Artist of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin, professor at the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy Alma Abatova, and associate professor at the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy Viktor Glebov. Also included were associate professor at the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy Murat Bisengaliev, Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR Anatoly Kanyshin, and the director of the Symphony Orchestra "Astana Opera" Gennady Anikushin.
The musicians' performance left a strong impression on the commission members. They particularly noted the orchestra's progress compared to previous years.
– I have been here many times; the level has always differed by a significant degree of mastery, but now it is even higher. The octaves have become higher, the sound is cleaner, and the articulation is brighter. The theater is demonstrating remarkable growth, – shared his impressions Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR Anatoly Kanyshin.
Such auditions have become an integral part of the theater's operations since its inception. In the early years of the ensemble's existence, certifications were conducted with the participation of specialists from leading world theaters. Today, this tradition continues, and the results speak for themselves: the "Astana Opera" orchestra is solidifying its position among the best musical ensembles.
– As someone who came from the string instrument group, I cannot help but highlight the outstanding mastery of this group. An amazing school, mastery of style – all these make the orchestra special. Each musician demonstrated a high level of professionalism, – expressed her opinion Professor Alma Abatova of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.
She especially emphasized the performance of works by W.A. Mozart, noting that he is one of the most complex composers, requiring absolute precision and clarity of sound. The musicians handled it magnificently.
According to A. Abatova, a unique feature of the "Astana Opera" orchestra is its youth, which opens up tremendous prospects for the ensemble. She also added that the involvement of different conductors in working with the ensemble allows it to continually grow and develop, striving for excellence, which has become its hallmark.
– I am confident that a great future awaits your orchestra, – concluded A. Abatova.
