As part of this large-scale cultural project, a master class on the Kazakh folk dance "Kara Jorga" was held for local dance enthusiasts, conducted by professional choreographer Zikniyar Aikebayr. The dance "Kara Jorga" is a significant element of Kazakh culture, symbolizing vitality and a connection to nature. The organizers emphasized the importance of this dance for the Kazakh people, as well as its popularity both in Kazakhstan and among Kazakh communities in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.

The program placed special emphasis on the national costumes of the SCO countries. Against the backdrop of the historic streets of Qingdao, traditional outfits from Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia, and various historical Chinese costumes were showcased. The display became a true celebration of folk art, symbolizing cultural diversity and strengthening ties between the member states of the SCO.
One of the highlights of the program was an exhibition of paintings by young artists from Russia and China, which captured the attention of the local audience. The exhibition, which combines traditions and modernity in the art of both countries, allowed viewers to gain a new perspective on the works of young artists. During the exhibition, a lecture was also held by the renowned artist and Doctor of the Repin Russian Academy of Arts, Tan Keday. He shared his extensive knowledge of Russian painting schools and techniques, making a significant contribution to the cultural exchange between Russia and China.

The cultural program concluded with a concert at the city’s concert hall, featuring over a hundred performers and art enthusiasts from the Shinan District showcasing spectacular numbers. Participants played melodies on the morin khuur, inspired by the Mongolian steppes, elegant dances from Thailand, and the song "You Stole My Heart," symbolizing the strong friendship between China and Pakistan. Additionally, the audience enjoyed classical pieces such as "Goodbye, My Friend" and "Katyusha," which elicited genuine delight.
A representative from the Shinan District Culture and Tourism Administration noted: “Shinan, as a cultural and tourist center of the city and the main venue for the 2018 SCO summit, continues to actively develop cultural cooperation with SCO countries. We aim to make our city an example of cultural diversity and inclusivity, highlighting its international character and openness to all peoples.”
The series of events in Qingdao vividly demonstrated the rich cultural heritage of the SCO countries and marked an important step in strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation among peoples.
