The comedic opera "Aysulu" will be showcased again in Astana.

The comic opera "Aysulu" by S. Mukhamedzhanov will be performed again on January 28 and 29 at the Astana Opera's Grand Hall. During its premiere, the show was a complete sell-out, and now those who were unable to attend have the chance to experience this production that recently made a significant impact, reports IAEl.kz, citing the theater's press service.

“Aysulu” is a story that resonates with every viewer. The ease of narration, sparkling humor, and vibrant musical themes create a unique atmosphere that captivates and makes the audience empathize with the characters. The appeal of the opera lies both in its music and in the thrilling plot, allowing each viewer to experience the excitement, joy, and adventures that the characters embark on.

Director Yerenbak Toykenov aimed to revive the atmosphere of the 60s and 70s on stage while making it modern, comprehensible, and engaging for audiences of all ages. Thanks to the skill of the performers and the impressive work of the entire production team, this goal has been achieved.

Thus, the production is led by conductor and People's Artist of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin, director Yerenbak Toykenov, and set designers – Honored Figures of Kazakhstan Sofia Tasmagambetova and Pavel Dragunov, whose collaborative efforts have created a lively and colorful stage picture. The lead roles will once again provide the audience with unforgettable impressions.

The role of Aysulu will be performed on different days by Nazym Sagintay and Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Bibigul Januzak, who will debut in this role. Dinmukhammed Koshkinbaev and Talgat Galeev will portray Serke. The character of Hasen will be played by Shyngys Rasylkhan and Yerzhan Saipov, while Talgat Allabirinov and Artur Gabdiev will embody the image of Aubakir. The roles of Zhansulu and Nursulu will be presented by Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Zhannat Baktaev, Asem Sembina, Saltanat Muratbekova, and Tatyana Vitsinskaya. The newspaper vendor and policeman will be performed by Sultan Bakytzhan, Altynbek Abilda (debut), and the academician roles will be played by Valery Selivanov and Bolat Yesimkhanov, while Abdikadir will be portrayed by Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Janat Shybykbaev and Valery Selivanov.
