The republican akyns' competition "Welcome, Labor Person!" has concluded in Astana. This event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the "AMANAT" party. Dedicated to the theme of laborers, the contest became a vibrant event that gathered the best akyns from across the country.
During the two-day verbal competition, 14 akyns showcased their outstanding performances from both national and international contests. The winner and recipient of the Grand Prix was Meyirbek Sultankhan from Kyzylorda, awarded the prestigious "Altyn Dombyra" prize.
First place was taken by Nurbol Zhauynbaev from Aktobe, while Aym Aysylbekkyzy from Almaty secured second place. Third place was shared by Omirzhan Koptbosyn (Ulytau), Didar Kamiyev (Karaganda), and Aspanbek Shugatay (Pavlodar region). All participants received special prizes.
The organizers emphasized that the akyns' competition has become not only a creative contest but also an important platform for preserving and promoting the cultural traditions of the Kazakh people. The event was sponsored by philanthropist and entrepreneur Talgat Sakan, the founder of the Q4 "Tulpar" company.
