The gala concert, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information, became one of the key events of 2025 in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
The concert program featured grand performances by outstanding choreographers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Tatarstan.
In attendance were the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aida Balayeva, along with many prominent figures from culture, art, and the public sphere. Participating in the event were the Kazakh State Folk Ensemble "Astana Sazy" of the State Academic Concert Organization "Qazaqconcert," the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, the Republican State Academic Korean Theater of Musical Comedy, the Uighur Folk Instrument Ensemble "Dostluk" from the Almaty Music College named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, the dance group "Ruhsara," the ensemble "Nava," and the Caucasian Dance Ensemble "Bahar."
Both masters and young performers showcased group and solo choreographic compositions, as well as instrumental and vocal performances. Among them were the dance "Kuy Shashu," a medley of folk songs, and Uighur, Korean, and Tatar dances, among others.
The creative team received a bouquet of flowers from the Ministry of Culture and Information.
It is worth noting that the "Birlik" Ensemble was established on March 1, 2024. This is the first multinational song and dance ensemble in Kazakhstan. Its unique repertoire includes the musical heritage and art of 130 ethnicities, whose histories are closely intertwined with that of the Kazakh people and the formation of independent Kazakhstan.
