The Abai region orchestra performed a concert in Tatarstan.

A concert program featuring the pop-symphonic orchestra of the Akim of the Abay region took place at the S. Said-Galiev Palace of Culture. The orchestra was conducted by Kenjegul Akshenkina, a recipient of the "Eren enbegi ushin" medal, as reported by IA El.kz, citing the regional Akimat.

The aim of the event is to strengthen friendly ties between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan, as well as to promote the culture, art, and traditions of the Kazakh people. Accompanied by an orchestra, pieces of Kazakh and Tatar music were performed. The program was presented in Kazakh, Russian, and Tatar languages.

Among the participants were esteemed figures from Kazakhstan, including Mapruza Utulenova and Erlan Ryskali, a distinguished cultural worker of Kazakhstan, traditional singer Guldana Nogaybaeva, an award-winning artist in international and national competitions, singer Tolegen Rakhymbaev, and the backing vocalists from the pop-symphonic orchestra.

This concert showcased Kazakh and Tatar folk songs, as well as well-known pop pieces, preserving the musical heritage.
