Kazakh singer Jazzdauren has been banned from entering Latvia.

The ban came as a surprise to the artist's fans, as there were no official explanations from the Latvian authorities. Latvia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, announced her decision on the social network X, citing part 2 of Article 61 of the Immigration Law.

The scheduled concert in Daugavpils on March 9 is now at risk of cancellation, and fans are demanding explanations on social media.

20-year-old Jazzdauren gained popularity thanks to hits like "Give Women Flowers" and "Songs on a Cassette." His work is particularly beloved by the Russian audience, and the artist actively participates in media and show programs.

The performer has yet to comment on the situation. It remains unclear whether he will cancel the performance or find an alternative way to connect with his Latvian listeners.
