A historical book exhibition has opened at the National Library.

The annual exhibition, running from January to the end of the year, is dedicated to significant and memorable events, anniversaries of outstanding historical figures, poets, writers, scientists, as well as state and public figures of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition features archival materials, documents, photographs, works, books, and valuable artifacts.

This year, a series of notable events are scheduled in Kazakhstan, which forms the basis of the exhibition's structure, consisting of five sections:

«Қазақ хандығына 560 жыл» / «560 years of the Kazakh Khanate» – over 100 books and periodical materials dedicated to the history of the Kazakh Khanate;

«Ұлы Жеңіске 80 жыл» / «80 years of the Great Victory» – includes books and documents that recount the events of the Great Patriotic War;

«Қазақстан Республикасының Конституциясына 30 жыл» / «30 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan» – materials on the development of the constitutional framework of the country;

«Қазақстан халқы Ассамблеясына 30 жыл» / «30 years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan» – the latest printed publications and documents about the Assembly's activities, its significance in strengthening peace, harmony, and unity in the country, and the role of ethnic and cultural diversity in shaping the modern identity of Kazakhstan.

«Тұғыры биік тұлғалар» / «Outstanding personalities» – over 500 books, memoirs, photographs, aphorisms, and quotes dedicated to the anniversaries of well-known historical figures of Kazakhstan.
