On February 4, the minister, who also heads the National Commission for Women's Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, discussed current initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality and highlighted the need to eliminate stereotypes that continue to hinder women's professional development. According to her, positive dynamics are already evident, but achieving substantial results is impossible without a comprehensive approach.

During the live dialogue, participants inquired about how to increase the number of women in leadership positions, close the wage gap, and what specific steps should be taken to implement the strategic objectives set by the Head of State. The audience also requested the minister to share her personal experiences from her career path, to which she responded that the key to success lies in a passion for one's work, the ability to take responsibility, and persistently pursuing goals.

Balaeva emphasized that when appointing individuals to important positions, professional competence should remain the priority, rather than gender affiliation. In her view, women deserve equal conditions in the pursuit of career advancement, where there is no room for artificial barriers or biased beliefs. She assured that creating such conditions is one of the government's top priorities.
