On December 21, "Astana Opera" will feature masterpieces of both global and Kazakh music.

On December 21, "Astana Opera" will be filled with a festive spirit as the International Opera Academy of Astana Opera presents the concert "New Year's Impromptu" in the K. Bayseitova Chamber Hall. This evening will serve as a vibrant conclusion to the year, offering the audience uplifting and joyful emotions, as reported by IA El.kz, citing the theater's press service.
21 декабря в «Астана Опера» будут представлены шедевры казахской и мировой музыки.

The stage will feature both solo performances and duets, blending lyricism, humor, and genuine drama. These will be presented by the listeners of the third cohort of the academy – Aigerim Temirbekova, Asylzat Nugymanova, Dilnaz Omarkhanova, Sara Sadygulova, Ruzilya Tyumenceva (soprano), Vasilisa Savkina (mezzo-soprano), Belal Kuanish, Ablai Beken (tenor), Adil Sultan, and Munkhtuushin Khorolgarav (baritone). The vocal coaches preparing the academy students for this concert are the Honored Figures of Kazakhstan, Azamat Zhelturguzov and Zhupar Gabdullina. The piano accompaniment for the evening will be performed by Dina Mirmanova and Zarina Bimendinova.

- Studying at the academy requires diligence and complete dedication, but the results are worth the effort. Each concert of the academy students is an opportunity to witness the growth of young artists. I have been working with the academy listeners for several years and can see that the third cohort demonstrates a good level of preparation and a strong desire for new knowledge. These young vocalists possess vibrant personalities, and our task is to help them unveil their potential and find their niche on stage. In preparing the participants for this festive concert, Azamat Zhelturguzov and I pay attention not only to technical accuracy and vocal purity but also to emotional expressiveness, understanding of the text, and the ability to convey the character of each persona. We strive to ensure that the performers feel confident, understanding that each of their appearances is a dialogue with the audience, - noted the Honored Figure of Kazakhstan, teacher-rehearsal Zhupar Gabdullina.

Thus, the musical evening will open with the scene “Toibastar” from the opera “Abai” by A. Zhubanov and L. Khamidi. Aigerim Temirbekova will perform the virtuosic Villanelle by Eva Dell’Acqua, while Belal Kuanish will gift the audience a heartfelt rendition of Be My Love by Nicholas Brodski from the famous film “The New Orleans Story.” The “Toast” by Isaac Dunaevsky, from another well-known film “Spring,” will be performed by Asylzat Nugymanova. Munkhtuushin Khorolgarav will fill the hall with warmth, presenting works by Italian masters Stanislao Gastaldon and Ernesto De Curtis.

The concert program is diverse and rich: it encompasses everything from emotional arias to lively dance rhythms. Vasilisa Savkina will perform the energetic aria of Luisa from the zarzuela “Daughters of Zavedeya” by R. Chapi, while Ruzilya Tyumenceva will immerse the audience in the magic of “Bolero” by L. Delibes. Sara Sadygulova will portray the young wife of a fisherman, Clara, who will sing a lullaby to her baby from G. Gershwin's opera “Porgy and Bess.”

- The idea of the concert is to unite the audience and performers in anticipation of the warmest and most family-oriented holiday – New Year. We hope that the inspiration and harmony created by the young artists will serve as a wonderful conclusion to this year and will undoubtedly gift everyone a sense of wonder, - concluded the executive director of the International Opera Academy Astana Opera, Aysulu Tani.
