The grain terminal, which had been idle since 2018, has released its first products. Ten wagons, totaling 700 tons of wheat, have already been delivered to the terminal. Of this grain, 75% is used to produce flour, while 25% is converted into bran. This information was provided by the Akimat of the Mangistau region.
"We hope that our plant will no longer stop, and the brand 'Beyneu Uny', produced in Kazakhstan, will become known worldwide," said the Akim of the Beyneu district, Rakhymzhan Shalbaev.
The grain terminal was launched by LLP "Eurasia Trans Logistic" and the Caspian Agricultural Cooperative.
The Beyneu grain terminal is a strategically important facility located in the Mangistau region. It covers a total area of 26 hectares and is considered a promising logistics hub, equipped with its own rolling stock and an 8-kilometer railway providing direct access to the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan border.
The terminal's capacity allows for the simultaneous storage of 100,000 tons of grain and the daily production of 320 tons of flour and 80 tons of bran. After modernization, these figures will be increased to 400 tons of flour and 240 tons of compound feed, respectively.
