В Казахстане стартовала петиция с требованием отменить два этапа декларирования.

A petition has been launched in Kazakhstan to cancel the III and IV stages of the universal declaration, reports a correspondent from the business information center Kapital.kz.

"In accordance with paragraph 8 of Article 90-2 of the APC RK, we inform you that a petition has been published and is available for joining on the official internet resource for submitting petitions: 1. Regarding the project 'Cancel the III and IV stages of the universal declaration,'" the message states.

The authors of the petition argue that "Kazakhstan is sufficiently digitized, and the state revenue authorities can see" all banking transactions, and starting from January 1, 2024, they will act as currency control authorities, therefore there are "no grounds for total declaration" in the country.

"What is the point of declaring a population that spends half of its income on food and is deeply in debt... Instead of implementing universal declaration, the current tax legislation actually contains provisions that not only allow for the abuse of tax obligations but even provide tax benefits that bring no benefit to Kazakh society," the petition states.

The authors of the document request to cancel or postpone the III and IV stages of the universal declaration for five years until the legal inaccuracies mentioned in the petition are rectified.

The official platform for submitting petitions epetition.kz began operating in Kazakhstan on April 4, 2024.
