In 2025, a budget of 65.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of 45 projects aimed at gasification in seven settlements. The execution of these projects will raise the country's gasification level to 62%, granting access to gas for 12.4 million people, reports a correspondent from the Kapital.kz business information center, citing the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
"One of the major projects is the construction of the automated gas regulation station 'Finskaya-120' and the diversion from the main gas pipeline in the Atyrau region. The implementation of this project will enhance the pipeline's capacity to ensure the necessary volume of gas for the European part of Atyrau, providing a significant boost to the region's industrial development," the statement notes.
The construction of the main gas pipeline 'Taldykorgan-Usharal' will be completed in 2025. Its length is 302 km, which will supply natural gas to 66 settlements in the Zhetysu region, benefiting a population of 124,000 people.
The construction of a gas processing plant with a capacity of 1 billion m3/year at the Kashagan field is ongoing. This project is being implemented as part of the National Program for the Processing of Raw Gas, which will increase oil production by 25,000 barrels per day from the Kashagan field and boost the volume of marketable gas by 700 million m3 per year for domestic consumption.
The construction of a technological complex for the production of liquefied petroleum gas based on raw materials from the Kashagan field has begun, with a capacity of up to 700,000 tons per year.
