The revenue of Kazakhstan's supplier companies for goods and services, LLP "Tengizchevroil," reached approximately $2.2 billion in the third quarter of 2024, as reported by the business information center Kapital.kz, citing the company's press service.
The overall level of Kazakh content in the goods and services purchased by TCO is 70%, according to the information.
It is worth noting that earlier, Finance Minister Madi Takiyev stated that the TCO expansion project would contribute 1.4 trillion tenge to the revenue part of the national budget.
The final phase of the Future Expansion Project (FEP) is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2025. This will allow TCO to increase crude oil production at Tengiz by an additional 12 million tons per year or 260,000 barrels per day.
The Future Expansion Project - the Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FEP-WPMP) - consists of two integrated projects being implemented by TCO simultaneously. The implementation of the FEP-WPMP is expected to boost crude oil production at Tengiz by approximately 12 million tons per year or 260,000 barrels per day.
The Tengiz oil field was discovered in 1979 and is one of the largest and deepest in the world. LLP "Tengizchevroil" was established on April 6, 1993, based on an agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chevron.
Currently, TCO's partners include: Chevron - 50%, JSC "NC "KazMunayGas" - 20%, ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Ventures Inc. - 25%, and Lukoil - 5%.
