Dentists in the country provided services worth over 56.3 billion tenge in the third quarter of 2024, reports the Kapital.kz business information center, citing the press service of the Bureau of National Statistics.
“Dentists in the country provided services exceeding 56.3 billion tenge in Q3 2024. The majority of the services, more than 5.3 billion tenge, were funded by the budget, 47.9 billion came from the population, and over 3 billion tenge were provided by enterprises,” the statistical agency reported.
Regionally, the highest volume of services was rendered in Astana and Almaty, each accounting for 14 billion tenge. The top three also included Atyrau region (3.5 billion tenge) and East Kazakhstan (2.3 billion tenge).
The least amount of services was provided in the Ulytau region, totaling 107,518 thousand tenge.
It is worth noting that as of January 1, 2025, there were 2,947 legal entities and branches registered in the field of “Dental Activities,” along with 2,921 individual entrepreneurs.
