KazMunayGas-Aero plans to establish an oil depot at the Astana jet fuel hub.

The construction of fueling stations is also anticipated at the airports in the capital and Aktobe.

The press service of JSC "KazMunayGas" reports on the results of operations in 2024 and the plans of "KazMunayGas-Aero," as conveyed by the business information center Kapital.kz.

"In 2024, LLP "KazMunayGas-Aero," a subsidiary of the Kazakh national oil and gas company JSC "KazMunayGas," delivered over 282 thousand tons of petroleum products: aviation fuel — more than 25.67 thousand tons; gasoline — nearly 40 thousand tons; diesel fuel — over 206.3 thousand tons; fuel oil — more than 10.4 thousand tons," states KMG.

The total volume of refueling "in wing" in 2024 amounted to almost 48.6 thousand tons, including:

  • Astana Airport — about 30 thousand tons;
  • Turkestan Airport, from March to December 2024 — around 5 thousand tons;
  • Aktobe Airport — 4.2 thousand tons.

KMG also shared information about the company's plans to implement new projects. In particular, "KazMunayGas-Aero" has outlined:

  • the commissioning of two new fuel tankers with a capacity of 40 thousand liters each;
  • the construction of the "ASTANA JET FUEL HUB" oil base in Astana, costing 7 billion tenge;
  • the building of a fuel refueling complex (FRC) at Astana Airport for 2.5 billion tenge;
  • the construction of an FRC at Aktobe Airport for 5 billion tenge;
  • the commissioning of new fuel tankers for 0.5 billion tenge.
