In 2025, a new selection process for the presidential youth personnel reserve will take place. This was announced by the chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, Darkhan Jazyqbay, during a meeting summarizing the work of the government body for 2024, as reported by the business information center Kapital.kz, citing the agency's press service.
The chairman of the Agency outlined plans for further enhancement of the reserve.
Specifically, it is proposed to clarify the provisions related to the employment opportunities for future reservists. Starting in 2025, members of the reserve will be appointed solely to political and administrative government positions.
“The primary task of the reserve is to select young specialists ready to serve for the development of the country in the civil service,” noted Darkhan Jazyqbay.
Additionally, as part of the execution of the president's directive, the results of the selection for Regional Personnel Reserves in regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital were announced in 2024. This selection was conducted for the first time across all regions of the country to meet the staffing needs of local authorities. Out of 505 individuals enrolled in the Regional Reserves based on the selection results from September of last year, 76 were employed in positions within the “B” corps in local executive bodies.
It is worth noting that in August 2024, it was reported that 505 individuals were enrolled in the regional personnel reserves in Kazakhstan. This selection was conducted for the first time.
The formation of regional personnel reserves was carried out with consideration of the specific features and development priorities of various regions within the framework of seven areas (industry and manufacturing, economy and finance, social sphere, housing and communal services and infrastructure, agriculture and land relations, digitalization and ecology).
