On March 5, the twelfth annual summit will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty, bringing together leading financiers, economists, investors, top managers, and representatives of the government bodies of Kazakhstan. This is a key professional platform for discussing current issues in economics, finance, investments, and new technologies.
The main theme of the summit will be seeking answers to the question: “What is the Kazakh dream, how can it be achieved, and how do experts perceive it through the lens of finance and economics?”
Participants will discuss the pathways for the development of business and the state, share experiences, and formulate strategic solutions.
Among the speakers of the forum:
· Igor Ryabenkiy — founder of the venture company AltaIR Capital;
· Dosym Satpaev — political scientist and public figure;
· Almas Chukin — economist, investment expert with many years of experience in finance and economics, known for his analytical forecasts and strategic approach to business development;
· Elena Bakhmutova — chairwoman of the Council of the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan;
· Galym Khusainov — chairman of the board of directors of JSC “Teniz Capital Investment Banking”;
· Vitaliy Volyanyuk — co-founder and CEO of the Digital Business portal;
· Alina Utemiskyz — chairperson of the board of JSC “Kazakhstan Stock Exchange”;
· Oraz Zhandosov — co-owner of LLP “Rakurs Consulting Group” and LLP “Eneverse KunKuat”.
The summit will also focus on modern challenges of digitalization. Biometric data is collected, transformed into code, and stored in encrypted form on devices or remote servers. Economist Almas Chukin notes:
Biometrics is changing the very essence of financial relationships. Thanks to digital technologies, companies gain access to vast amounts of data, creating risks for users. It is essential to understand how we are entering a new reality and where to draw the line between prohibition and permission. The issue of tokenization is equally relevant — the expert believes that we are currently at an important stage: several central banks from different countries are already at a critical point in transitioning to practical implementation.
In Asia, Thailand and Japan have already established clear rules for digital assets, while Hong Kong has allowed retail investors to use tokens. In the EU, companies can raise up to 8 million euros through tokenized securities, and Liechtenstein and Malta are actively developing crypto regulation.

During the Best Practices sessions, leading experts will share successful case studies and practical knowledge, and the C-mentoring format will provide opportunities for individual communication with experienced mentors from finance and business.
The climax of the summit will be the awarding of the winners of the The Best CFO 2025 competition, one of the most prestigious awards for financial directors in Kazakhstan. This year, the competition will cover three categories: financial sector, large and medium-sized business, and small business.
