Air Astana is set to launch a new route to Vietnam connecting Almaty and Da Nang starting June 4, 2025, reports the correspondent from the business information center Kapital.kz, citing the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee.
Flights will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays using Airbus A321LR aircraft.
“The total number of flights between Kazakhstan and Vietnam will increase from 32 to 34 per week. The opening of this air route is expected to enhance trade, economic, business, and tourism cooperation between the two countries,” the Civil Aviation Committee stated.
It was previously reported that Air Astana is expanding its route network to China with a new flight to Guangzhou, which will commence on March 30, 2025. Flights will be available three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays—on the comfortable Airbus A321LR. Starting April 20, 2025, Air Astana will also launch flights to India on the Almaty – Mumbai route. During the spring-summer navigation period, Air Astana will replace flights to Phu Quoc with a new seasonal route to Nha Trang (Vietnam).
